Author Guidelines
Author Guidelines: IJoRIS: International Journal of Religious and Interdisciplinary Studies
Thank you for your interest in submitting to the International Journal of Religious and Interdisciplinary Studies (IJoRIS). To ensure a smooth submission process, please review the following author guidelines:
Manuscript Preparation
1. Length: Manuscripts should be between 5,000 to 10,000 words in length, including the abstract, main text, references, and any tables/figures.
2. Format: All submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. Use 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
3. Title Page: The title page should include the manuscript title, author name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information for the corresponding author (including email address).
4. Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150-250 words that summarizes the key points of the manuscript.
5. Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords that describe the focus of your manuscript.
6. Headings: Use clear and informative headings to structure your manuscript. Apply APA 7th edition heading styles (e.g., Heading 1, Heading 2, etc.).
7. In-text Citations: All references in the manuscript must be cited using the APA 7th edition citation style.
8. References: The reference list should be formatted according to the APA 7th edition guidelines and placed at the end of the manuscript.
9. Tables and Figures: If your manuscript includes tables and/or figures, they should be numbered and accompanied by captions.
Submission Process
1. Online Submission: Visit the IJoRIS website at https://journal.rasailmedia.com/index.php/ijoris and click on the "Submit Article" link to access the online submission portal.
2. Cover Letter: During the submission process, you will be asked to provide a brief cover letter (up to 300 words) that outlines the significance of your research and its relevance to the journal's scope.
3. Supplementary Files: If you have any supplementary files (e.g., data sets, appendices) that support your manuscript, you can upload them during the submission process.
4. Conflict of Interest: You will be required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to your manuscript.
