Archiving Policy

The International Journal of Religious and Interdisciplinary Studies (IJoRIS) is committed to ensuring that all published articles remain permanently accessible to the academic community and the wider public. To that end, this journal implements the following archiving policies:

1. Digital Archiving
All articles published by IJoRIS will be archived and made available in the journal's digital repository which can be accessed through the official website. In addition, this journal also uses the following digital archiving systems to ensure long-term access:

- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS, which allow partner libraries to permanently store copies of journals.
- PKP Preservation Network (PN), which supports journal archiving based on Open Journal Systems (OJS).

2. Institutional Repositories
- Authors are allowed to deposit and distribute copies of published articles in their academic institution's repository or other scholarly repositories.
- Versions of articles that can be archived include pre-prints, post-prints (accepted manuscripts), and final published versions, with DOI and official publication information included.

3. National and International Library Archiving
- IJoRIS collaborates with national and international libraries to archive published articles to ensure continued access.
- The journal is also listed in various academic indexes and databases to expand its accessibility.

4. Backup System
- All journal data is regularly backed up on internal servers and cloud storage to avoid data loss due to system failure.
- In emergency situations such as journal shutdown, all articles remain accessible through external archiving repositories.

5. Open Access and Public Availability
- IJoRIS supports the Open Access policy, allowing published articles to be freely available to anyone without restrictions.
- This journal participates in the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) to facilitate wider indexing and distribution of articles.

With this archiving policy, the International Journal of Religious and Interdisciplinary Studies (IJoRIS) ensures that all published scholarly articles will remain available and accessible to the global academic community in the long term.
